Bustin flat in Kalamazoo… Waiting For a Train.

<![CDATA[We've arrived at the train station in Kalamazoo! Our journey to Vietnam has finally begun, and so far everything is going SMOOTH! First, we loaded a bunch of luggage into Ronney's car (roommate). The luggage actually took up every spot in his car besides the driver seat, so there was no room for passengers. Luckily, I've been blessed with great friends that are willing to help, because Lena (neighbor) was able to go with us to the bus station, and drive my car back to the house when we were there. Without two vehicles, and two drivers, this trip would have hit troubles before it began! Glad I had the help!! The Amtrak bus ride was fairly short, but the train will take a little longer. We'll be heading into Chicago and arriving there shortly after 11:30pm local time (about 12:20am Eastern Time). Then, it's off to the airport to wait it out until our flight tomorrow morning! We've brought snacks, of course, so we'll be eating on the train and a little in the airport as well. We're carrying a TON of luggage (only ONE thing is mine!). It'll be interesting to see how we manage to haul all of this luggage to where we need to go in Chicago, but we'll probably get through it. If anything, we have 8 hours to walk! Nah, Hang has a friend apparently that is in the windy city, and we'll probably end up meeting with him soon! In the mean time, we're just sitting here with our luggage and our little technology toys (laptop, and iPad), and we'll just have to wait for our ride. [charliead]]]>
