Greatest Buffet Experience: The Lotte Legend Hotel In Ho Chi Minh City

<![CDATA[Food is a big deal in Vietnam. It's how people show who they are, and how they demonstrate their gratitude and care towards other people. It's a way of saying "Welcome." For our first night in Ho Chi Minh City, the Pryors were introduced to the fantastic buffet dining experience at the Lotte Legend Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Along the way, my father along with both of my brothers rode in a classic USMC Jeep from the Vietnam War. This Jeep is used at Hang's father's rubber tree farm, for moving around the place more easily. I'll have footage of this riding experience coming in a later article once I get the footage from him. The night life in Ho Chi Minh is a booming one, as many young people ride all over the place having fun. I'm told the experience riding in the Jeep, amidst the hectic traffic, was a great one, so I look forward to sharing that with you as well. The grand room that welcomes you featured an enormous Christmas tree, lit up in such a radiant and extreme blue that it colored the entire area as well. Even my camera had a hard time figuring out what color stuff should be, as the video above demonstrates. As well as amazing decor, the hotel also features live piano music playing at the front as well, providing pleasant aura to the dining experience. As for the food... well, they're is practically anything you'd expect in Vietnam. Crab, lobster, pork, beef, chicken, vegetables, some cuisine type dishes, salmon, and of course some awesome dessert items as well. Another extravagant thing about this experience, is that the dinner really is all inclusive, and not just the food. A buffet ticket here also grants you unlimited drinks as well... alcohol included. Drink all the fine wine you want people, or just keep refilling that beer. Whichever is your style. I was a fantastic way to end the first night. [charliead] Of course, having not had any decent sleep for almost two days at this point, I could barely keep my eyes open by the end of the night. Upon getting home afterwards, I pretty much fell right asleep after a quick teeth brushing. Nothing more to report from that point on. :)]]>
