<![CDATA[The Ao Dai (pronounced "ow-y-eye") is traditional clothing in Vietnam. Every Ao Dai is custom made to the measurements of the person that wears it. That means uniforms for jobs, dress for formal parties or meetings, or any other event or occasion that requires it are all custom made for the woman, with over 25 different measurements taken into consideration to make it fit perfectly to a woman's body.
Mom's is a dark blue with some flowers. Hang's mother (my mother-in-law) is also wearing an Ao Dai, but hers is an orange/mango color (I'm terrible with colors, so maybe it's neither of those).
