Prison Architect 2.0 – Ep 31 – THE BIPOLAR COMPLEX – Let’s Play

Let’s Play Prison Architect 2.0 – EPISODE 31. In this episode, we balance the conflict of care and punishment, with Scott Gordon also having mixed moods. We have a re-balance of our regime (but not finalized yet), and we start putting together the final pieces to help us achieve a longer-lasting peace. Plus, the mail room is built.

Prison Architect is a game where you plan and design a prison from scratch, and then manage it and all the potential problems that go with it. From proper segregation to maintaining happiness within the population to prevent riots and improve rehabilitation, players in Prison Architect are tested on their abilities to solve problems before they get out of hand, while also managing a budget and growing their business.

The concept of building and managing a prison is a dark one, but Introversion Software, the creators of Prison Architect, have done an awesome job at bringing this conceptually difficult game into a lighthearted and fun environment, with fun graphics to go with it.

New Episodes will be posted here when they are edited and available, and may take different forms and pace as time goes on. A link to a full post covering the episode will be linked as the first thing in this description if available.

I hope you enjoy this series. I intend to play it for as long as there is interest in it. I know this isn’t a new game, but I hope to present a style that is enjoyable, despite perhaps seeing the game before.

  1. Charlie. The shower in my room wasn't working (you saw my hygiene need was up). I tried to fix it myself and then water started pouring all over the place. Then this Screw comes in my room and says I broke it and giving me a hard time. So I killed him. Can you blame me?
Blue Gang is obviously upset that I am in the hole again, but I told'em to keep it calm, which I think they did.
And thank you so much for that new door in the fence. It should make it easier to escape so I can be with my new love. Also, the servo is a nice touch. Knowing how stupid your guards are, they will probably push the button to open it for me.

  2. For the vehicle gates, I just find it easier to assign a guard to "Stand guard" so that way cars can just come in and out pretty quickly and not have to worry about wasting money on buying more servos and electrical cables to get electricity over there, not to mention, it helps save capacity for the generators. That's just my two cents though.
