Mass Effect: Andromeda begins in 2185, between the events of the second and third games in the original trilogy. The four Citadel Council races are planning to populate new home worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy as part of a strategy called the Andromeda Initiative. Each race will send 20,000 citizens on a one-way, 600-year journey to Andromeda aboard their own transportation vessel, called an Ark, and selects a leader, known as a Pathfinder. Once the races arrive, they will help build the Nexus, a huge space station that serves as a center of government and diplomacy, a living area, as well as a base of operations for the Pathfinders

Our interaction with this story begins in 2819, once the Pathfinder team has awoken from their sleep.

  1. Great fighting in this one. If you would have chosen the other option and not kept quite about Sarissa then the Rookie would have become the new Pathfinder. Great episode, Charlie.

  2. The ark was already largely evacuated when the action that claimed the Asari pathfinder took place. The story doesn't clearly specify if the Asari ark was already deep in the scourge at that point, so the question is if the data really was that needed. Sarissa didn't abandon her post to save the ark, she abandoned it to save the data she stole from the Kett, that being said a pathfinder (which she became) needs at least some amount of self-righteousness to drive her opinion home as the right one or at least the only one that matters. So if the data was needed to save the ark, great, if not, not so great and she betrayed her pathfinder for personal glory. The choice like every choice before it (and all the ones later in the game) aren't clear cut, if they were it wouldn't be a choice.

Still fun to watch sir, a quality gameplay series.
