<![CDATA[I'm going to start a little regular segment on my blog, where I share my favorite short films from around the web. These will most likely all come from Vimeo, but occasionally I see a bit of artistic flare on YouTube that sparks my eye. This week, my pick is a short film by Sam Molleur, titled "The Promise." It's a very simple film, taking place in one location with very few characters. Doesn't seem very interesting when I say it like that, but what it lacks in visual diversity it makes up with great dialogue. Writing can bring a story to life, or just present you with something enjoyable to watch. This certainly did it for me. Enjoy! [charliead] ]]>
