Short Film Of The Week: Side Effected by Lev Pakman

<![CDATA[This is a regular segment on my blog, where I share my favorite short films from around the web. These will most likely all come from Vimeo, but occasionally I see a bit of artistic flare on YouTube that sparks my eye. It doesn't matter when the film was released, because it's all about new discovery for me, and not necessarily for the world. All videos in this category add something to the creative flow, and are shared in hopes that it sparks creativity and imagination in my friends and colleagues. This week, my pick is a short film by Lev Pakman., titled "Side Effected." An urgent meeting between the boss of a pharmaceutical company and one of his upstart young employees is called in order to discuss a troubling rumor about a new drug. It's a very strong short film following two characters each with a motive that the other seemingly already knows about. It's clear where the power struggle is, and the ending is a perfect statement of victory for one of them. Enjoy! 🙂 [charliead]]]>
