The irony is Chiken attack not there when you get skill about Chicken
You weren't wrong, there is a second chest in the frog cave, you didn't see it because you had to rotate the camera to be able to.
You stole nothing from the lizard dude, you had your hands in his pocket when the dwarf that's walking around saw you, and the pickpocket attempt failed, but you get only one attempt, no matter if you steal something or not. That's why I always quicksave before stealing, and also make sure to engage in talk-distractions, so I don't get caught. At this level it's not so bad, but later in the game when stuff gets really expensive and you can steal more, it's just nice to get something for free. 🙂
