It May Not Be The Biggest Party Ever, But I'm Leaving For Vegas Today.

Today, after a few errands and a haircut, I leave for Las Vegas. It’s a trip that comes right after one of the most stressful semesters of my college life, and even though I can’t afford this trip, I welcome it with open arms. Hang’s mother is in the United States for a few more weeks, and I feel it’s an excellent opportunity to spend some more time with her. We aren’t going to be doing a bunch of drinking or gambling while we’re there, because of Hang’s mother (and because I’m broke). Still, there are many free things to do in Vegas, and we’ll soak up those things as much as we can. I don’t know her very well. Language is a barrier that is hard to overcome. Sometimes I wish there wasn’t a language barrier with my girlfriend and her family. In many ways, it made it easier (in the past) to get along with parents, and much easier to gain approval. Parents have always liked me with past relationships, but this one… I really can’t tell sometimes. Actually I have no idea. I feel Hang gives me mixed signals all the time when it comes to what everyone is thinking, almost as if she doesn’t want to say what is real, and chooses to hide something from me. She’s always been a woman of secrets. Never the less, this is to be a much needed break away from it all! I’ll be posting pictures and stuff here as I go, so perhaps we’ll get that Photo Gallery section opened up here soon, huh? We leave on a 9:00pm flight out of Detroit. We’ll arrive around 10:30-11:00pm local time. [charliead] ]]>
