Release Date For GVSU Baseball in Cuba Film Announced
Loutit Lecture Halls in the Padnos Science Building on October 24, 2015 – HOMECOMING at Grand Valley State University. I’m thrilled to have been invited to be a part of this amazing adventure, and for the last 3 years have been working towards producing a film that would excite you, drive imagination into your minds, and open your eyes to the all but mystical view of Havana, Cuba. I say mystical because, up until very recently, Americans weren’t really allowed to go there. BUT WE DID! We had GVSU Baseball in Cuba! In celebration of this announcement, and having an official premiere date on Grand Valley’s campus for Homecoming, I’ve released a new preview into the film’s story. It’ll be well worth the 2:30 it takes you to watch it. If you like it, consider sharing the video on Facebook with your friends and family, and if you’re part of Grand Valley in any way, be sure to support your school by sharing the video as well. I may have shot, edited, and directed the film, but it’s still very much a Grand Valley Production. There’s no way we could have shot GVSU Baseball in Cuba without events going exactly as they did, and with as much effort and money that Grand Valley put into it. It is still very much an intricate part and example of the cultural and educational ideology of the university. The official Facebook page for the film is here!
Like it on Facebook to stay up to date, and to support the film! You can also use the hashtag #GVSUCUBA to spread the word as well!
