My vote: each of you play the strategic later up to and including selecting the next mission, but the other gets to choose the squad, play the mission, and run the strategic later until either another mission pops or they decided you need to run a facility/black site/etc. That way you at least get to choose squads that work with your play style, but it's dependent on what soldiers the other person didn't get tired/wounded/captured etc. Not sure how well things would go if you picked each other's squads based on your own styles. Would likely be interesting to watch but unlikely to set you guys up for a reasonable chance of success. That's my 2 cents anyways.
