  1. You're never really out of the woods and comfortably secure on this planet. It can just screw you over at any time and give you several days with no wind and no sun, and even a developed colony can be wiped out.

  2. Not sure if you've figured this out by now or not, but putting up a lightning rod goes a LONG way towards mitigating power issues on this planet, because it feeds the electricity into your batteries.

    I'd imagine that's WHY solar and wind are such garbage here, since the lightning never stops
