  1. Yeah, I don't know about this game. Seems very repetitive and kind of tedious. Maybe its just me, but I remember a commercial from back in the day were the kids couldn't find any good games to rent and the games left were "standing in line" and "lets do homework", this game reminds me of that.

  2. Not really a type of game that should be payed for tbh.

Like 10 years ago, ride op type of games were really popular in the ride enthusiast community in Europe (mainly Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France).

They were mostly made by German devs and offered them for free. Most of them consisted of only one ride, and they were often modeled after real European traveling rides.

  3. I want that game but I'm broke
in sweden there is a park called gröna lund and it has a super high like swing you know the first ride you tried

  4. As a ride operator, I am extremely uncomfortable with the way you did your safety lap and you left your safe zone not only that but you went the wrong way when checking the restraints.

  5. …I work as a ride operator at a theme park and I'm just giggling to myself so hard because my job is nothing at all like this game. Being a ride op is stressful and exciting and challenging. This game takes all the stressful, challenging bits out of the experience and just makes it "push a button to do things."

Customer interactions: you have to make sure to interact with the guests before and after the ride ends. This game gets rid of that (which is honestly one of the best parts of my job; I get to talk to and meet a lot of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences). Ride testing: you don't get to ride the rides yourself, even when you test them. You run the ride and stay at the controls the entire time, and while it's running a test run, you watch and listen to see if it makes any weird noises or does anything it's not supposed to. Oh, and inspection is more than just "run the ride once before people get on." You have to actually examine all the different aspects: the axles, the gears, the pulleys, the harnesses. You have to clean the ride inside and out (literally; we have a train at our park and if you're assigned to it, you have to walk all the way around the tracks and pick up trash and debris and it's a pain in the arse. Don't even get me started on cleaning out each individual car on the Ferris wheel.) If the stop button on the ride stops working for real, you basically have to shut down the ride. The emergency stop button doesn't activate on its own. You have to remember on your own to stay clear of the ride. Oh, and if I closed the entrance gate to the ride but there was still space on the ride and there were people in line waiting, that's not okay and I would get reprimanded for that. This game is so silly. I'd say Roller Coaster Tycoon is a more realistic representation of what it's like to run a theme park.
