Prison Architect 2.0 – Ep 26 – Sit Back. Relax. Solve. – Let’s Play

Let’s Play Prison Architect 2.0 – EPISODE 26. In this episode, I’m sitting back, letting things run, and we’re finally starting to solve problems our prison has been facing. How far can we go? How much better can the prison get? It’ll take time, but we’re starting that process now.

Prison Architect is a game where you plan and design a prison from scratch, and then manage it and all the potential problems that go with it. From proper segregation to maintaining happiness within the population to prevent riots and improve rehabilitation, players in Prison Architect are tested on their abilities to solve problems before they get out of hand, while also managing a budget and growing their business.

The concept of building and managing a prison is a dark one, but Introversion Software, the creators of Prison Architect, have done an awesome job at bringing this conceptually difficult game into a lighthearted and fun environment, with fun graphics to go with it.

I hope you enjoy this series. I intend to play it for as long as there is interest in it. I know this isn’t a new game, but I hope to present a style that is enjoyable, despite perhaps seeing the game before.

  1. Hi Charlie. Glad to see that you are studying the needs of my fellow inmates more closely. Happy prisoners = happy warden.
BTW, how did you track down and cure all the people that had the plague?
Also, if you schedule some work-time for me, I could go to class or spiritual guidance.
Will I have to wait for episode 31 before you build me that luxury cell?

  2. the red bar at the food food thingy means that some prisoners don't eat and the green bar means that they have eaten so some of your prisoners don't get to eat for some reason and also, your risk was high because blue gang leader was in solitary so next time when a gang leader is in solitary keep an eye on the risk bar

  3. Prisoners in Solitary have food brought to them. Once I have Permanent Punishments, I have the most dangerous Inmates locked in Solitary for days in order to Suppress them. Once Suppressed, I put them in permanent Lock-down, and they still have food brought to them, like a Death Row inmate.

Like I've suggested, Max Sec don't receive many privileges.

  4. One thing I like to do is set up a fairly large room for security (something like 9×12) and make a 4×4 area in the corner a staff room, so guards don't even have to leave the room to take a break.
