Charlie Fun Fridays #01 – Kerbal Space Program – SSTO to Duna Challenge Part 1 – LIVE

hottipsmedia.com/2016/09/16/Charlie-fun-fridays-live-stream-01-kerbal-space-program-ssto-duna-challenge/ Welcome to the FIRST Charlie Fun Fridays Live Stream here on YouTube! I’ve got a show today packed full of content to experience with you all, including engineering an SSTO that can reach and land on Duna…. while also carrying 15 Kerbals and a rover for surface science! It’s a tall order, something I’ve never done before, and I’ll probably fail live on the internet! It’ll be so much fun!

Throughout the live stream(s) on this channel, I’ll be focusing about 80% on the game, and 20% on your comment stream. I do try to address most comments in the stream, including questions for me, but I may not get to all of them. Sorry if I miss yours!

Please note there is a 30 second delay on this stream to help with buffering and connection issues.

Kerbal Space Program isn’t your typical game, and as we’re going to find out together, it’s a real challenge, and it doesn’t hold your hand or tell you really how to do anything… and that’s what I LOVE about this!

  1. Thanks for trying out my craft!
In the email i said I did not have the time to test the craft (with FAR). My SSTO was build in 1.1.3 but w/o FAR. The Kerbalx page did show a verrrrrrry detailed description with text-flight profile and action group usage etc.
But the version I had would not have survived FAR without doubt so all that is irrelevant.

I do have time (and my computer) now so I will give it another shot.
    #ChallengeAccepted 😉

After watching this I have serious doubts that this challenge is possible with a pure stock craft so my next submission (if I get that far) will probably require a mod or two…
BUT it will be tested 😀

    Best regards

    Fulgora
