Osiris: New Dawn – Part 1 – Sci-Fi, Space Survival Game – First Look – Live Series! (9/28/2016)

“Open Universe” Sci-Fi, Science, RPG, Space, Survival, Base Building. Inspired by real stuff. Immersive. This Game Has It All! Join me LIVE tonight as we learn how to play this awesome new game that was just released on Steam a few hours ago! Better than No Man’s Sky? Better than Ark? It’s got a bit of a Minecraft feel to it as well, except less customization, but far better visuals. Oh yeah… and there are alien lifeforms out to kill us while we’re surviving. It’s brilliant sounding…. but how does it play?

This game is developed by the same people that brought us Ark, and is inspired heavily by movies, such as The Martian and Prometheus. There are currently 2 planets, and more are to come.

  1. Hey Charlie, did you play TES III Morrowind? It have a very large map, and no "quest markers" like Oblivion and Skyrim. When I play it, I was first lose by that fact, but later I use the environment to kind of know where I am, and that was very cool, it feel more ROL play style. Maybe this game try to do something like that.

  2. i cant watch any more. i love your vids but god this one once u started useing the jet boots was just to annoying to watch.

its like in a MMO when u got those that do nothing but jump all time. its fine at start but quickly gets annoying.

on the map. they dont need one as u already got one in your hand

  3. plutonium? funny, i had plenty all around, and ive also watched other ppl play and they found it no problem.
you know what resource is like, impossible to find?
titanium. and its needed right at the start lol.

also, menus change depending on the tool you're holding so, try that out.

edit: after actually playing, almost all of the important resources are kilometers away lol.
also, the fact that you need to build a habitat (which is completely open), and then build an airlock made me laugh.
