RIMWORLD Alpha 16 – EPISODE 01. Welcome everyone to a brand new series I simply could not wait to start! Rimworld is being played by everyone lately, it’s the new, old hot title all over again, and I wanna get my hands into the pot too. I’ll be starting as just a single colonist with almost nothing, and we’re going with Randy Random as our story teller because I like things unpredictable.

Rimworld is a game about storytelling and survival. Though the graphics are simple, the gameplay is very complex, and the game mechanics run deep. In Rimworld alpha 16, the version we’re playing here, new features include a full world instead of a square map, and a whole new travel system that will allow players to move around a spherical map. to visit other colonies as well! Now we can be the raiders if we want to be!

Our story in Rimworld follows a man named Charlie (of course) who has found himself stranded on a world in the outer rims of space after saying the wrong thing to the wrong people on the pirate ship he was a member of. Surviving the landing with only the two first aid kits that come on-board the standard escape ship, he must build up his shelter, defend his new base, research technologies and navigate the complex social relationships with other factions. It’ll be a really cool ride! 🙂
