Let's Play XCOM 2 – Episode 00 – XCOM Enemy Unknown Summary (SPOILERS)

This is a story recap video for my new Long War 2 campaign here at Charlie. Episode 00 allows people who have never been introduced to XCOM to be familiar enough with the story to know what has happened up until the start of XCOM 2. It doesn’t discuss combat/gameplay. It only focuses on what a viewer would need to know to be caught up with XCOM for watching the Long War 2 series.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, for people who are not familiar with XCOM, to ALSO watch two more videos I have on the channel – which feature the tutorial missions for XCOM 2. I recorded these well over a year ago, when this game was first released. These tutorial missions are not as action packed, BUT, they will show you the basics of the gameplay, and more to the point of why I recommend watching them, they also include key story elements that are NOT featured in the official Episode 1 of the series on my channel – because the Long War 2 mod to overhaul the game, turns off the possibility of playing the tutorial missions.

SO… if you’ve never been introduced to XCOM before and that’s why you’re watching this, you’ll get the most informative look at everything by watching Episode 00 (this video), then XCOM 2 Tutorial Missions part 1 and then part 2. After that, THEN come and watch Episode 1 of the official series playlist. That will give you the best “experience” in terms of the story itself. Below are the links to those, in order:
