CONQUERING KSP BRAINSTORMING STREAMS: This stream series is meant to give the “brainstorming” and “craft building” content to the people that want it, while still allowing me to prepare for episodes for the official Conquering Kerbal Space Program series on YouTube. The playlist for the main series is located here: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsBoF66x4ZmAMbs-BAIYv6rjs5txolj6m

These streams will be available for the public after they conclude, however, they will be in a separate playlist from the regular series. This stream series is sorta inspired by SpaceX, as they have a hosted webcast and a technical webcast. It’s not a good comparison, but they have two separate casts for the same thing – and these live streams are the more technical things. I felt like I could give people more behind the scenes looks into things and what I’m trying to develop, while also saving myself data storage and editing time (because it’s just live). Thank you for watching.

A full explanation as to the goal of these live streams can be found at the very beginning of this stream.

  1. Not sure if it got said in the stream but, as I understand it, Local Logistics only ever 'pulls' resources, never 'pushes' them. So something that needs Ore can pull it from a disconnected kontainer – but a drill can't send it to one.

  2. HotTips! You have docking ports on the front and back of the trailers, so create a wall with like 6 docking ports on it, and all the trailers attach to it. It would be like the receiving area in a warehouse. and your trailers wouldnt drive off.

  3. There are trailers that can have a second trailer attached to them. you don't see them much in Michigan because MI law only allows for no more than two trailers behind one semi cab. Their are 17 states in the US that allows up to three trailer, but you only see them on roads like the Ohio Turnpike. The other thing is that the drives have an endorsement on top of having their CDL Class A license. I can only say this because I have a Class A license and know what it would take for me to get the endorsement added to my license

  4. Just an idea, but if you set up a mining base in a good area, on Kerdan. With the Planetary logistics module i believe that it will transfer resources freely within the SOI of the planet it is on. That said with the part at the mining bass and on at an orbital station orbiting the same body. thing do not transfer from say Kerdan And Mum because they are different SOI's, the transfer is from the orbital and the ground. The only thing that needs to be transferred would be the crew of anything that is built.

Plus anything that you have in extra of you can recover on Kerban for pure income, only needing to come to the KSC for Research and crew.
