Mass Effect: Andromeda begins in 2185, between the events of the second and third games in the original trilogy. The four Citadel Council races are planning to populate new home worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy as part of a strategy called the Andromeda Initiative. Each race will send 20,000 citizens on a one-way, 600-year journey to Andromeda aboard their own transportation vessel, called an Ark, and selects a leader, known as a Pathfinder. Once the races arrive, they will help build the Nexus, a huge space station that serves as a center of government and diplomacy, a living area, as well as a base of operations for the Pathfinders

Our interaction with this story begins in 2819, once the Pathfinder team has awoken from their sleep.

  1. 47:16 It does change the color of the 'crystal' slightly and as far as I recall opens the lock on the small locked door, nothing major inside, a container with loot and such.

52:32 Unsure if you figure this out in the rest of the series, but that interface (and the others ones like it in previous vaults) is only a puzzle that gives you a couple of skillpoints and does not in fact help out with the rest of the vault.

54:23 Yes it was, refer to 31:15 straight ahead of you. This would be the drawback with casting gameplay, talking while running around with all the changing views that entails, noticing details even at medium distances becomes really hard. Still, you got there in the end and that's all that matters.

Still enjoying the series, refreshing with someone that appriciates this installment despite it's initial flaws and, like me, isn't a milli-second reaction first person shooter expert. When looking at those kinds of players I just get tired, has to be my age. Keep up the nice work sir.
